Trump nominates ‘Stop the Steal’ organizer who advocated for Jan. 6 defendants as D.C.’s top prosecutor

Trump has nominated interim U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia Ed Martin — a “Stop the Steal” organizer who advocated for Jan. 6 defendants — to be the district’s top prosecutor on a permanent basis.
