Death of Irvo Otieno at Virginia hospital ruled a homicide, caused by ‘asphyxia with restraints,’ officials say

Irvo Otieno, the Black man whose death led to murder charges against seven deputies and three hospital workers died from asphyxia in a homicide, officials said.
